THE annual club fund-raiser for Crumlin Children’s Hospital takes centre-stage at Gowran Park all this week.
Members can enter the Rumble for Crumlin as often as they like, but not with the same team. All support is welcome.
SPRING CLASSIC - The latest Open Spring Classic qualifier, a scramble, was held on Friday. Winners with a good score of 64.1 nett were visitors D. Norris (Callan), J. Hillman (Callan) and E. Deegan (Kilkenny).
This week’s qualifier, a three-person Team Event, can be played either tomorrow (St Patrick’s Day) or Friday. This is the last chance to qualify for the final, which will be played on March 25. Entry fee is E20 for visitors, E5 for members.
FOURBALL - After a slight frost delay members and visitors were eager to get started in the Open Fourball competition on Sunday.

There will be no competition this week as the Rumble for Crumlin qualifier is being held all week. Tee times can be booked through the pro shop.
RACE NIGHT - A race night will be held on Saturday at 6pm following the race meeting. A fund-raiser for the golf club, all members are asked to support the night by buying a horse for E10. Members are reminded that there will be no golf on Saturday.
JUNIOR - Junior golf memberships are now available to sons and daughters of members. The cost is E120 for golfers from 8 to 11 years of age and includes four group lessons. Junior membership is also open for 12 to 18 year olds. Further information from the golf operations manager, tel 056-7726699.
