STAR Kilkenny swimmer, Jane Roberts turned in notable performances at the Sainsbury Schools international swimming games which were held in the Olympic Games pool in London on Wednesday.
Jane won silver in the 100 metres butterfly in a time of 1.03.56. She later won bronze in the 100 metres backstroke in 1.05.20.
The Kilkenny swimming club member captained the Irish girls team. Jane qualfied for the team through a series of galas in Leinster and at national level by swimming for her school, St Brigid’s College, Callan.
