The minor team play Tullamore in Birr. No results available at time of going to press. The mixed team will be out today (Wednesday) against Waterford.

The Boyne team scored a great win against Dunmore East in a very sporting and enjoyable match. The winning team was Betty Owens and Joan Brennan, Noreen Kinsella and Betty Byrne and Ita Madigan and Eileen Fogarty. They played in sunny Dunmore East.

In wetter conditions in ’Comer were Claire Dowling and Nuala Mahon and Patricia Doheny and Marie Gannon. The next opponents are Enniscorthy.

The draw has been made for the ladies club singles. The first round should be played by June 29. Ladies should check the ’board for match information and pay the entry before the first round.

The Lady Captain’s competition is on July 10 and 14.
