Cuddihy makes Olympic semis

Kilkenny City Harriers runner, Joanne Cuddihy, has made it through to tomorrow night’s (8.05pm) semi-finals of the 400m at the London Olympics. She will run in lane 2 of the first semi.

Kilkenny City Harriers runner, Joanne Cuddihy, has made it through to tomorrow night’s (8.05pm) semi-finals of the 400m at the London Olympics. She will run in lane 2 of the first semi.

Cuddihy clocked 52.09 when running in the first heat to go through as the fastest loser. Her time was slower than her Olympic qualifying time of 51.45 which she recorded in Shizuoka in May.

Her personal best time and Irish record for the 400m is 50.73, which she set in 2007.
