Coláiste Pobail Osraí hosted their Oíche Oscailte - Open Night for 2023 on 26th September. A great night full of informative talks from students Nicholas and Róisín, as well as from parents and staff on the many benefits of the school, focusing on the facilities on offer, the quality of teaching and learning, and the student support system within in the school.
There were displays on the night highlighting the multitude of facilities and experiences available to prospective students. The Home Economic skills of the students were shown by the variety of delicious refreshments on offer, the wonders of the science classroom were exhibited through fire experiments, and the projects and machinery of the Technology and Art rooms were a wonder. The various experiences of participating in the great Transition Year program on offer in the school were also on show with stands exhibiting the achievements of past and present T.Y. students.
The atmosphere throughout the night was exciting and welcoming, with current students acting as tour guides to show just what they are proud of and enjoy about their school. It was a busy event and a great night was had by all. Coláiste Pobail Osraí is looking forward to seeing many new faces in September 2024. Click NEXT for more photographs from the night!
