At a glitzy selection night, held in the Ormonde Hotel on Sunday evening, Lisa joined her fellow Rose hopefuls for a wonderful evening .
Not only were the contestants joined by Roses from surrounding counties of Laois, Carlow, Wexford and Cork, but the guest of honour on the night was reigning Rose of Tralee, from New York, Roisín Wiley. The ladies were also joined on the night by the young Rosebuds.

There were competitions for the friends and family members too - a prize for creating the best supporter banner went to Susie Ryan and Mars Bergin, and the best dressed man and woman on the night were Obby Reddy and Eve Nolan.

Lisa is a communications specialist at Tirlán. She loves music and performing and has loved the Rose of Tralee for as long as she can remember. Lisa was sponsored by her granddad Johnny, representing their family business in Castlecomer O’Rourke’s Quik Pick, in honour of her late granny Rose.
