Blooming brilliant Kilkenny! Did you spot these locals at Bord Bia Bloom?

Ballyfoyle garden wins commendation, craft makers star at DCCI Irish Craft Village

Garden designers, food producers and craft makers from Kilkenny had a blooming good time at this year’s Bord Bia Bloom festival!

From the tasty treats of Goatsbridge Trout in the food tent, to beautiful, local products in the Irish Craft Village, the Cats were well represented during the five-day affair.

A highlight of this year’s Bloom was the ‘postcard garden’ designed by Ballyfoyle Pastoral Group.

Titled ‘turning back time in our garden,’ the showpiece centred around an old-fashioned plough, offering a window on the past and reminding us of the importance of giving time in the garden. The garden was commended by judges.
