Shamrocks Ballyhale began their 2025 St Canice's Credit Union Senior Hurling League campaign in impressive fashion on Thursday evening, beating Bennettsbridge in a well-attended fixture in Thomastown. - SEE PICTURES BELOW

The most successful side in Kilkenny club hurling will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2024 season that saw them knocked out of the championship at the quarter-final stage, with Henry Shefflin returning for his second term as manager after a period away. - FULL LEAGUE PREVIEW HERE

The cliché 'goals win matches' proved to be the case yet again on the night as netted finishes from Niall Shortall, Eoin Cody and Darragh Corcoran sent the Shamrocks on their way to a seven point victory.
