Ireland’s oldest agricultural show did not disappoint its legion of fans and attendees, when South Kilkenny’s Iverk Show opened its gates to all, last Saturday.
Just one year away from celebrating 150 years of the show, Piltown’s Iverk Show committee proudly continue the legacy of the organisers of the first show in 1826.
Lucky with the weather, show-goers on Saturday basked in sunshine as they visited stands showcasing the latest in agri-technology, local businesses and even local politicians - who were quick to treat all comers to a cuppa and a bun! Click the arrows above to scroll through this gallery!
