It was a busy bank holiday weekend for members of Kilkenny’s Macra clubs.
The 2025 Macra National Conference (Rally) took place over the long weekend in Rosscarbery, Co Cork, hosted by Carbery Macra.
The event had a jam-packed itinerary - farm walks, the agricultural conference, club awards (including a new Best Emerging Club category), live music, stock-judging contests, and a grand banquet. Clubs from Kilkenny City and Callan travelled to the event.
Current Macra President is Josephine O’Neill, from Bennettsbridge, who is a member of Callan Macra. She was elected to the position earlier this year.
