Plans lodged for upgrade works at Kilkenny's Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre

Kilmanagh Ballycallan Killaloe Community Enterprise Group CLG have lodged a planning application with Kilkenny County Council for a series of environmental and facility upgrades at Ballykeefe Amphitheatre.

The proposed works include new signage, conservation repairs to the historic lime kiln, additional native planting, new information boards and wayfinding signs, improvements to the amphitheatre seating, a replacement performers' green room with a holding tank, and a new pergola-covered walkway linking the stage to the green room.

The application also includes all associated site works.

A decision is expected by Kilkenny County Council in the coming weeks and may be subject to certain conditions.
