Decision due soon on plans lodged for thirty housing units in Kilkenny

A decision is due next week from Kilkenny County Council on plans seeking to develop thirty housing accommodation units which may accommodate elderly/assisted living persons in Kilkenny City.

The housing is planned by Tallywood Limited for a site at Hebron Industrial Estate, adjacent to Aldi.

Calls for more columbarium walls to be built in Kilkenny

Twenty-four two-bed maisonette units and six three-bed duplex apartment units in two and three-storey blocks are planned with a central landscaped courtyard.

The extension and modification of an existing shared carparking area and the provision of carparking dedicated to the proposed housing units is also sought.

This application forms part of an overall masterplan in which the adjacent site is subject to a concurrent and separate planning application.
