Are property prices finally falling in Kilkenny? Interesting findings revealed

Property prices in Kilkenny have fallen, according to the latest MyHome Property Report

Property prices in Kilkenny have fallen by €8,750 during the quarter, according to the latest MyHome Property Report.

The report for Q1 2025 shows that the median asking price for a property in the county is now €246,250.

Asking prices for a three-bed semi-detached house in the county fell by €10,000 over the quarter to €225,000.

Meanwhile, the asking price for a four-bed semi-detached house in Kilkenny fell €5,000 over the quarter to €310,000. This price is up by €10,000 compared to this time last year.

There were 214 properties for sale in Kilkenny at the end of Q1 2025 – a decrease of 14% over the quarter.

The average time for a property to go sale agreed after being put up for sale in Kilkenny now stands at almost three months.
