The keys to eleven new homes in a North Kilkenny town have been officially handed over in a huge boost for the locality.

Red Barn Apartments in Ballyragget, a once dilapidated site, has been transformed into 'beautiful' new homes.

"The journey to Red Barn has been about more than bricks and mortar," the Good Shepherd Centre in Kilkenny posted online.

"The work carried out by the Good Shepherd in bringing this project to life became the driving force behind the creation of Kilkenny Voluntary Housing Association (now known as Tar Isteach Housing), ensuring the regeneration of properties into homes can continue long into the future."
