Tributes have been paid to Valerie Walsh (née O'Shea) of Mooncoin, Kilkenny after her passing following a short illness.
Friends, family and acquaintances have paid tribute to Valerie, reflecting on her great friendship, the twinkle in her eye and what a wonderful mother she was.

A friend wrote: "Valerie was a great friend and was always so proud of her family. May she rest in peace."

A friend from school said: "I went to school with Valerie, in SHM Ferrybank , we had great times , Valerie had that twinkle in her eye, ready for the crack and the laugh. And indeed we had.

Valerie is sadly missed by her loving husband Ted, Sons Christopher, Sean and Ciarain and their partners Karen, Ciara and Ellen, brother Michael, family & friends.
Valerie will be reposing at her residence in Ballincur on Thursday, January 23 from 3pm - 7pm. Funeral mass on Friday, January 24 at 12noon in the Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Cork at 4pm.
