RIP: "A lovely man" - Tributes pour in for deeply loved Kilkenny priest

Tributes have been paid to Castlecomer native Fr Liam Shore who passed away earlier this week.

Fr Shore was a much loved figure in the North Kilkenny town, contributing to a variety of roles including as a committee member of the Erin's Own GAA Club.

The local priest also dedicated much of his life to the Diocese of Cardiff in Wales, with deep sorrow being felt both sides of the Irish Sea upon news of his passing.

Ahead of his funeral mass on Thursday afternoon, many friends and parishioners of Fr Shore have expressed their condolences on RIP.ie.
