The death has occurred of Denis Patrick Barry, Clonmel Road, Callan, Kilkenny and formerly of The Commons, Freemount, Co. Cork.
He died suddenly at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Saturday, 28th July 2018. Deeply regretted by his loving family, his wife Mary, sons Denis, Padraig and Desmond, daughters Anna Maria, Noelita and Noreen, grandchildren Jonathan, Annabell, Sanne, Jesse, Harriet and Ethan, brothers John, Dan and Pat, sister Noreen, son-in-law Dave, daughters-in-law Sarah and Martha, Kristen, Adam and John, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. The late Bridget Grace
The death has occurred of Bridget Grace (nee Alyward), Ballyfluigh, Windgap, Co. Kilkenny peacefully on Sunday, 29th July, in the loving care of Sarah and Staff at Strathmore Lodge, Nursing Home, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Jim, son John, brothers Sean and James, sister Josie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan from 4pm on Monday with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Prayers on Tuesday morning at 10am followed by removal to St. Nicholas Church, Windgap for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
The late Winifred Manning
The death has occurred of Winifred Manning (née Brophy), Palmerstown, Kilkenny at Drakelands Nursing Home (Peacefully). Surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Michael and grandson Michael Murphy. Sadly missed by her daughters and sons, Catherine, Jimmy, Mary, Winnie, Eileen, Brid and Michael and their partners Joe, Mary, Theresa and John, her sister Mary Finn, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home on Monday from 5pm, with rosary at 9pm. Reposing on Tuesday from 4pm with funeral prayers at 7pm, followed by removal to St Canice’s Church. Requiem Mass at 11am on Wednesday, burial afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the St Vincent De Paul.
The late Anne (Nan) Pierce
The death has occurred of Anne (Nan) Pierce (née Holmes)
Cloudmount, Castlecomer, Kilkenny and Wexford Town, peacefully, in her 92nd Year, in the remarkable care of Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, County Carlow. Widow of the late Stephen Pierce. Greatly missed and remembered with love by her sister Eileen Dando in New Zealand; nieces, nephews, and wider family; and by her many friends in Wexford, Carlow, and Kilkenny.
Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer from 4pm on Monday (30th July), before removal to Saint Mary's Church, Castlecomer, for arrival at 7pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday (31st July) at Saint Paul's Church, Balloughton, County Wexford (Y35 AY61) at 3pm followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
The late PJ Byrne
The death has occurred of PJ (Patrick Joseph) Byrne; Ballindoney, Ballywilliam, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, peacefully in Abuja, Nigeria. PJ loving son of Pat and Nancy, father of Sarah, Cara and Jess. The death has occurred of Laura Hayes (nèe Moriarty), Durrow and Rathdowney, Co. Laois and Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny. July 27th 2018, Laura, unexpectedly.
