The death occurred of Breda Ryall, Kilbraghan, Kilmanagh, Co. Kilkenny, unexpectedly at her residence on Friday 12th October 2018. Pre-deceased by her parents Sam and Kathleen, brothers Tom, Sam and Oliver. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother Jim, sisters-in-law Beanie, Galatia and Nellie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan on Sunday from 5pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Prayers on Monday morning at 10am followed by removal to St. Molua’s Church, Killaloe for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeeffe.
The late Billy Laffin
The death has occurred of William (Billy) Laffin, 46 Ossory Park, Kilkenny City and formerly of Ahenure, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary. William died peacefully on Sunday, October 14th, 2018, in the exceptional care of Staff at Castlecomer District Hospital. Husband of the late Bridget (Biddy). Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family, sons Philip and Francis, daughter Louise, grandchildren Mark, Kira, Conor, Oisin, Cara and Robert, great-granddaughter Sophie, daughters-in-law Waddy and Anne Maria, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The late Sr Carmel O'Brien
The death has occurred of Sr Carmel O'Brien (Loreto Convent, Kilkenny and late of Viper, Kells, Co. Kilkenny. October 14th 2018 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Drakelands House Nursing Home. Predeceased by her brothers Fr. John, Lar, Phil and Tom and her sister Lily (Lannigan). Deeply regretted by her loving Community, her brother Pat and his family in Melbourne, Australia, sisters-in-law Mairead (Drea) and Rita (O'Brien), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home from 5.30p.m. on Monday (Oct. 15th) with Funeral Prayers at 6.30p.m. followed by removal to St. Canice's Church with Evening Prayer on arrival. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon followed by burial in the Convent Cemetery.
The late Jim Gannon
Jim Gannon of Ballinamona, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny who died on Saturday 13th October 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. predeceased by his grand sons Jack and Sam, Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, son Jim, daughters Samantha, Yvonne (Currivan) and Lorraine (Stephenison), grandchildren Marcus, Kaelyn, Jasmine, Lauren, Ethan, Ava, Faye, James and Phoebe, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters Eileen (O'Neill) and Peggy (Tobin), nieces, nephews, neighbours, family and friends.
Jim will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Monday 15th October from 7.30pm untill 9pm. Removal on Tuesday 16th October to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Breda Landers (née Emery) (Greenfields, Freshford Road, Kilkenny) 13th October 2018, at University Hospital, Waterford, Breda, pre-deceased by her husband Stan and sons Desmond and Gerry, sadly missed by her loving son Noel (Stan), daughters-in-law Bernie and Collette, grandchildren Shane, Tara, Amy and Kellie, great grandchild Aoibhín, nephew Pat, niece Anita, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home on Sunday (14th October) from 5 o'clock with Funeral Prayers at 6 o'clock followed by removal to St. Canice's Church. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the SOS, Kilkenny.
