The late Betty Duffy

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Duffy (nee McCallum) (Derdimus, Tennypark, Kilkenny R95 A2NC) 12th December 2018, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, Elizabeth (Betty), beloved wife of Tom and much loved mother of Mark and Stephanie, sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Paul, Gerry and Joe, sisters Margaret, Mary and Jean, son-in-law Kevin, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandchildren Eve, Freya, Cian, Connor and Keelin, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home on Sunday (16th December) from 4 o'clock, concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 10.30 o'clock in St. Joseph's Church, Foulkstown, Waterford Road, Kilkenny. Cremation Service at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin on Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation.

The late Kitty Dunne

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kitty) DUNNE (née Bowe), Ballyerk, Moyne, Tipperary / Crosspatrick, Kilkenny and formerly Crosspatrick, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John and son Denis. Deeply regretted by her sons Philip and John, daughters Bridget and Mags (McGeehan), granddaughter Adele, daughter-in-law Lisa, son-in-law Rígán, brothers Phil and Ned, sisters Mary (White) and Ann (Brennan), nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday, 14th Dec., from 6pm to 8pm. Arriving at St. Mary's Church, Moyne at 9pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 15th Dec., at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Moyne.

The late Frances Prendergast

The death has occurred of Frances Prendergast (née O'Brien)
Killarney, Thomastown, Kilkenny and formerly of Caughana, Co Longford. Frances, beloved wife of the late Peter, died peacefully in the loving care of the Staff at St Columba's Hospital, Thomastown on Thursday, 13 December. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, sons Tom, David and John, daughters Margaret and Frances, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St Columba's Hospital Chapel, Thomastown from 5 pm on Friday with Rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St Kieran's Church, Tullaherin to arrive for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by interment in St Mary's New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny. No flowers please. Donations if desired to The Friends of St Columba's.

The late Jimmy Roche

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Roche: Rathenure, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny, 13th December 2018 after a short illness. Surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the staff of Waterford Regional Hospital, James (Jimmy) in his 91st year, beloved husband of Alice, loving father of sons Eddie, Michael, Seamus and Paschal, daughters Alice and Eileen, brother Peter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his baby daughter Alice and his brothers Michael, Paddy and Bill and sisters Betty, May, Biddy and Sr. Eileen.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home, The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross from 3pm Saturday, 15th December, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral to arrive at St. James' Church, Glenmore for 11am Requiem Mass on Sunday, 16th December, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Kathleen Tighe

The death has occurred of Kathleen Tighe (nee Wall) (1 Johnswell Road, Kilkenny) 12th December 2018, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kathleen, sadly missed by her loving sons Oliver, Alan and David, Alan's partner Catherina, grandchildren Leah and Chloe, extended family, neighbours and friends. 

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home on Friday (14th December) from 5pm with Funeral Prayers at 6.15pm followed by removal to St. John's Church. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10.30am. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. House private please.

The late Mary Donnelly

The death has occurred of Mary Donnelly (née Brophy), Barrowmount Drive, Goresbridge, Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Matt, son Joey, daughters Marie and Catriona, brothers and sisters, grandchildren, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Thursday from 1.oc to 8.oc. Removal on Friday afternoon arriving at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Goresbridge for Funeral Mass at 2.oc. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Goresbridge.
