The late Thomas Gleeson

The death has occurred of Thomas Gleeson (Kilrane, Rosslare Harbour, Co. Wexford and late of Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny), Dec 15, 2018, Thomas, beloved husband of Ann, father of Karen, Dennis, John and Andy; sadly missed by his family, son-in-law Den, daughters-in-law Julie, Sue and Sharon, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R. I. P. Reposing in Mulligans Funeral home, The Faythe, Wexford on Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church Rosslare Harbour on Wednesday at 12noon, burial afterwards in St. Aidan’s Cemetery Kilrane. Family flowers only. The late Dr Kevin McDaid

The death has occured of Dr. Kevin McDaid (Ashfield, Old Golf Links Road, Kilkenny and late of Skibbereen Co. Cork and Letterkenny, Co. Donegal). December 15th 2018 (peacefully) in the loving care of all at Drakelands House Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Eileen and much loved father of Eileen Rose (Power), Brendan, Kevin and Paul. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, sons, brother Pascal, sister Brida, grandchildren Kevin, Mark, Anthony, Troy, David, Kevin, Eoin, Sarah, Sharon, P.J. and Melissa, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home (eircode R95 FH90) from 5p.m. on Monday with Funeral Prayers at 6p.m. followed by removal to Church of Most Holy Trinity, Dunmore, Kilkenny. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11a.m. followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Aileen Mullins

The death has occurred of Aileen Mullins (nee Manning), Sunnyhill, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare and formerly High St, Kilkenny. Aileen, December 16th 2018, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Col. Bill Mullins. Predeceased by her daughter Patricia and son Owen, recently deceased. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Brian, Colm and Rory, daughter Celine, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her son Rory's residence, Ballysax, The Curragh (Eircode R56 YR50) from 2pm on Monday until the conclusion of prayers at 8pm. Removal from there on Tuesday morning to The church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving, via Sunnyhill, for 11.00am requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Brigid's Cemetery, Kilcullen.

The late Helen Sweeney

The death has occurred of Helen Sweeney (née Moriarty), Holyground, Dingle, Kerry and Callan, Kilkenny  on the 15 of December, 2018 Helen Sweeney (nee Moriarty), Mount Carmel, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and Holyground, Dingle. Wife of the late Paddy and predeceased by her parents Patrick and Elizabeth, brother Pat and sister Kitty. Deeply regretted by her relatives and friends.

Reposing at O'Connor's Funeral Home, Dingle, Monday evening, from 4.30 p.m. followed by removal at 5.30 p.m. to St. Mary's Church, Dingle. Funeral Tuesday morning after 11 a.m. Requiem Mass to St. Brendan's Cemetery, Dingle.

The late Joe (Joseph) Darcy, Rose Inn Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny and Cloughjordan, Tipperary of D & R Antiques Kilkenny and late of No.1 Templemore road Cloughjordan. Predeceased by his beloved father Dan and brother Christopher. Deeply regretted by his loving mother Mary (Girly) and brothers and sister Billy, Dan, Paddy, Jack, Ben, Ned, Tom, Mary, Francis and Declan, aunts and uncles, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours in both Kilkenny and Cloughjordan and friends.

Reposing in Ryan's Funeral Home, Nenagh (E45 KN93) this Sunday from 5 o'c to 7.30 o'c. Remains arriving to Ss. Michael and John's Church, Cloughjordan, on Monday for Requiem Mass at 12 o'c followed by burial in the church grounds.

The late Michael (Mick) O'Neill

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) O'Neill (O'Loughlin Road, Kilkenny). December 14th 2018 at his home. Beloved husband of Mary and much loved father of Martina, Michael and Willie. He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, brothers Frank and Liam, sisters Patty and Marie, his nine grandchildren Kayleigh, Shane, Kevin, Corey, Rebecca, Abbie, Ellie, Billy and Sarah, his five great-grandchildren Megan, Lucy, Finn Óg, Eve and Annabelle, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home from 6p.m. on Saturday. Funeral Prayers on Monday at 9.30a.m. at his home followed by removal to St. John's Church for 10.30a.m. Requiem Mass, burial afterwards in St. Kieran's Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Motor Nueron Disease Association.

The late Mary Kate (Kitty) Somers

The death has occurred of Mary Kate (Kitty) Somers, Mary Kate (Kitty), Clondalkin and Coon West, Kilkenny, December 14th 2018. Peacefully, after a short illness. Beloved wife of Stephen and much loved mother of Christine, Brian, Pauline and Rachel. Cherished granny to Isabel, Valerie, Jonny, Jack, Katie Mai and Hugh. Kitty will be sadly missed and forever loved by her husband and family, her brothers, sisters, daughters-in-law Pat and Fiona, son-in-law Ken, extended family, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass will take place in St Brigid’s Church, Coon, Kilkenny on Monday evening at 5 o'clock. Kitty will be then taken to Massey Brothers Funeral Home in Clondalkin Village for Prayer service on Tuesday between 12 o'clock and 2 o'clock and thereafter to Newlands Cemetery for burial at 2.30 o’clock.
