The late Philip Clohosey

The death has occured of Philip Clohosey, ('Caomhnú', Kilcreene, and late of Patrick St., Kilkenny on December 30th, 2018 (suddenly) at St. Luke's Hospital. Funeral Arrangements Later.

The late Mary Lacey

The death has occurred of Mary Lacey (nee Traynor), (Woodlawn, Archers Avenue, Kilkenny). December 29th 2018 (suddenly) at St. Luke's Hospital. Beloved wife of Tony and much loved mother of Jane and Hazel. She will be sadly mssed by her husband, daughters, brother Joe, son-in-law Con, grandchildren Alex and Abi, her extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home from 5p.m. on Monday (Dec. 31st). On Tuesday (Jan. 1st) a Service celebrating Mary's life will take place at 12.30p.m. at Mary's home followed by bural in St. Kieran's Cemetery.

The late Mary McGovern

The death has occured of Mary McGovern (nee Cregan). Kilkenny and Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.). December 29th 2018 in Portland. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Peter, son Carl, parents Carl and Maureen. Much loved mother of Jim, Deirdre and Maureen. She will be sadly missed by her son, daughters, sisters Noreen, Maeve and Cora, brother Michael, grandchildren Grace and Cregan her extended family and friends. Funeral will take place in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.

The late Mary Sheehan

The death has occurred of Mary Sheehan (née Doyle) (Meadow Hill, Kilkenny and formerly of Youghal, Co. Cork) 29th Dcember 2018, in the loving care of the staff at Drakelands House Nursing Home, Mary, beloved wife of the late Patrick and much loved mother of Anthony, Stephen and Ralph, sadly missed by her loving sons, sisters Ann and Betty, daughters-in-law Claire and Marcella, grandson Ronan, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The late Hugh Smith

The death has occurred of Hugh Smith, Kells, Co. Kilkenny, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, 30th December, 2018. Deeply regretted by his wife Susan, son Alan, daughters Alexa, Sally and Amy, daughter-in-law Niamh, sons-in-law Colm, Eamonn and Mark, grandchildren, brother Ted, sisters Annette, Helen and Patricia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home on Monday from 3pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 5pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in The Church of the Holy Cross, Kells. Burial afterwards in Kilmoganny Cemetery. Family Flowers only, donations if desired to The Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care Team. House rivate please on Tuesday morning.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny on Tuesday (1st January) from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock with Rosary at 6.30 o'clock. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Mary's Parish Church, Youghal. Interment afterwards in North Abbey Cemetery.
