The death has occurred of Johnny Cuddihy Snr, Tifeaghna, Freshford, Kilkenny. Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home, Freshford on Thursday evening from 6.30 o'clock with Rosary at 7. 30 o'clock. Funeral arriving on Friday morning to Clontubrid Church for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Tifeaghna Cemetery.
The late Catherine Carey
The death has occurred of Catherine Carey (nee O'Mahoney) Cloncant, Clonbullogue, Co. Offaly and late of The Rower, Graignamanagh, Co. Kikenny (in her 99th Year) January 23rd 2019. Peacefully at Ofalia House, Edenderry. Predeceased by her husband Peter. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Anastasia, Caroline,Margaret and Catherine, sons Peter and John, sons in law, daughters in law,grandchildren, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest, Portarlington on Thursday (24th) from 3 o'clock with prayers at 7 o'clock. Funeral Mass on Friday (25th) at 12.30 p.m. in the Church of the Scared Heart, Clonbullogue followed by burial in Cloncrane Cemetery.
The late James (Jimmy) Gaul
The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Gaul, Lismore Park, Waterford and late of Allenstown, Broadway, Co Wexford and Waterford HSE, who died on Wednesday 23rd January 2019 at home, Jimmy will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret (nee Cuddihy) sons Simon, Michael and Brian, daughters Louise (Hodnett) and Niamh, son-in-law Eddie, daughters-in-law Gillian and Kylie, and his 8 adoring grandchildren Jason, Sarah, David, Abbie, Kate, Ellie, Caitlin and Amy, brothers Michael and Eamon, sister Madge (Doyle), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family, neighbours and friends.
Jimmy will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Saturday 26th January from 2.30pm followed by removal at 4.30pm to Saint Paul's Church, Lisduggan. Requiem Mass on Sunday 27th January at 11.30am followed by burial in St Kevin's Cemetery, Carrigeen. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, to Pinegrove Day Centre c/o of Powers Funeral Directors, Ferrybank.
The late Alice Nolan
The death has occurred of Alice Nolan (nee Brennan) (Newtown, Kells, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Knockshanbally, Muckalee) 23rd January 2019, peacefully, at home, in the loving care of her family, Alice, in her 97th year, beloved wife of the late Paddy and much loved mother of Breda (Quigley), Phyllis (Ryan), Eddie, Anne (Grace), Mary (Maher), Martin, Geraldine (LaMercier), Pat, Rose (Willbond), Brendan and Collette (Wall). Sadly missed by her family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, Kilkenny on Friday (25th Jan.) from 5 o'clock with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in All Saints Church, Newtown, followed by interment in Newtown Cemetery.
