The late Nora Devaney

The death has occurred of Nora Devaney (née Connolly) (Hempfield House, Clover, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny R95 KX98 and late of Maidenhead, Berkshire, England) 26th January 2019, at St. Luke's Hospital, Nora, in her 102nd year, beloved wife of the late Stephen, loving mother of Sean, Patricia and Bea, grandmother of Julie and Kevin, sadly missed by her loving family, brother Michael, sons-in-law Tony and Ted, daughter-in-law Kim, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home in Gowran in the loving care of Julie and her husband Andrew (O'Leary) on Tuesday (29th Jan.) from 6 o'clock with Rosary at 7 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11 o'clock in The Church of the Assumption, Gowran. Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin.

The late Pat Dwyer

The death has occurred of Pat Dwyer; Ballyyveria, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny. 27th January 2019. Pat loving son of the late Mick and Peggy, brother of late Tom and uncle of the late Patrick. Deeply regretted by his loving family sister Theresa, brothers Mick and Fran, sister-in-law Anna, brother-in-law Jim, nieces Clodagh, Ciara and Emma, nephews James and Alan, aunt, uncles, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross from 3pm on Tuesday 29th January 2019 concluding with Rosary 8pm. Funeral to arrive at St. James' Church, Glenmore for 11am Requiem Mass on Wednesday 30th January 2019 with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Statia Kinsella

The death has occurred of Anastasia (Statia) Kinsella (née Gorey)
1 St. Enda`s Terrace, Paulstown, Kilkenny, peacefully following a short illness, predeceased by her loving husband Richard, and daughter Mary, much loved mother of Tommy, Michael, Dick, Noel, Martin and Caroline, sadly missed by her brothers Francis and John, sisters Lil and Ann, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Her daughter Caroline Walsh's residence (Church Rd, Garryduff, Gowran R95 W2R7) on Tuesday morning from 11am, concluding with Rosary that evening at 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning arriving at the Church of the Assumption, Paulstown for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the Holy Family Cemetery, Paulstown. House Private on Wednesday morning please.

The late Annie Kirk

The death has occurred of Mrs. Annie Kirk (née Kelly), Amberhill, Kilmeaden, formerly of Ballygorey, Carrigeen, Co. Kilkenny. Reposing at her residence on Monday January 28th from 4pm to 8pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Removal on Tuesday morning January 29th at 10.30am to St. Nicholas’ Church, Ballyduff Lower arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Tuesday Morning please.

The late Pat Ryan

The death has occurred of Pat Ryan; Kilbrahan, Rosbercon, New Ross, Co. Kilkenny and late of Guilcough, Tullogher, 26th January 2019 Pat, loving son of the late Walter and Margaret.Deeply regretted by his loving family sister Mary brothers Willie, Michael and Walter, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home, The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross from 3pm tomorrow, Monday, 28th January with removal at 7.30pm to St.David's Listerlin (Mullinarrigle). Requiem Mass will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday 29th January 2019 with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Eileen Somers

The death has occurred of Eileen Somers; Cruttenclough, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Reevanagh, Coolcullen, Kilkenny, Via Carlow. At Saint Brigid's Ward, Saint Columba's Hospital, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. Pre-deceased by her husband John (Sonny). Sadly missed by her loving sister Maureen (Comerford), nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousin Geoff (Murphy), relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home from 4pm on Sunday. Vigil Prayers & Rosary at 8pm on Sunday evening. Funeral Prayers on Monday evening at 7pm followed by removal to Saint Brigid's Church, Coon. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Henry Miller

The death has occurred of Henry Miller, Bawnmore, Johnstown, Kilkenny. Henry died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his son Kevin. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ruby, daughters Lesley and June, sons-in-law Matthew and David, daughter-in-law Helen, grandchildren Daniel, Sam, Ciara, Eva, Conor and Libby, brother Arthur, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Doyle's Funeral Home, Urlingford on Sunday evening from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Monday evening from his residence to St. Mary's Church, Johnstown arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Service on Tuesday afternoon at 2.30pm followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Kilkenny/ Carlow Homecare Team. Collection box supplied at the church.

The late Alice Taylor

The death has occurred of Alice Taylor (Michael's Church, Ballycallan, Co. Kilkenny (R95 V0 V2) 25th January 2019, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin, in the loving care of her family and the staff at St. Anne's Ward, Alice, beloved daughter of Martin and Wendy and dear sister of James and William, sadly missed by her loving family, her partner David and the O'Dea family, grannies Maura (Jamieson) and Irene (Taylor), aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday (29th January) from 4 o'clock concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7 o'clock. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Brigid's Church, Ballycallan, for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium for private cremation. Family flowers only please. The late Tom Phelan

The death has occurred of Thomas Phelan, Coolnacritta, Galmoy, Co. Kilkenny. January 25th 2019. Peacefully at his residence. Thomas (Tom) predeceased by his wife Bridie.
