Pictures: Check out Camphill's impressive offering at Savour Kilkenny festival

Dedicated to improving the employment prospect of people with disabilities, Camphill Initiatives for Social Ecology (CISE)  transformed the Old KBC Bank into a vibrant hub of culinary excellence and social inclusion during the Savour Kilkenny festival which took place over the bank holiday weekend.

People also had the opportunity to learn about the variety of skills being taught, from butter-making and vegetable growing to baking and cooking.

Tutors were available to discuss how these programmes are preparing individuals with disabilities for meaningful employment in hotels, restaurants, shops, and cafes and there was also information on how new partnerships are being fostered among stakeholders, with innovations emerging from local enterprises including Knockdrinna Farmhouse Foods and L’Arche culinary hub.
