Coláiste Pobail Osraí students met MEPs Seán Kelly and Billy Kelleher
Exploring the world of European politics and practicing their foreign language skills were the order of the day for a group of students and teachers from Coláiste Pobail Osraí who visited the European Parliament recently.
The Kilkenny students were in the company of new friends from their host school European School, Brussells.
At the European Parliament the group met with MEPs Seán Kelly and Billy Kelleher, as well as learning about the other roles in the parliament from Secretary-General of the EU Committee of Regions Mícheál Ó Conchúir and EU translator Róisín Abbott.
The Coláiste student group visited Belgium with Múinteoir Bébhinn and Peadar as part of a French-Irish language exchange trip.
Their hosts will make the return visit to Coláiste Pobail Osraí in March, during Seachtain na Gaeilge.
