Kilkenny student address Oireachtas Committee

Coláiste Pobail Osraí students marked Seachtain na Gaeilge

Coláiste Pobail Osraí students Róisín Ní Shúilleabháin, Lily Mae Ní Bhraonáin and Rhys Ó Cinnéide joined representatives from three others schools from around the country as they addressed the Oireachtas Joint-Irish Language Joint Committee through Irish.

The students travelled with their teacher Elaine Nic Réamoinn and supporters as part of an event that coincided with Seachtain na Gaeilge. The students spoke on important national and international issues and were tasked with answering some tough questions by politicians on the committee.
The exercise was carried out trí mheán na Gaeilge - what a privilege for them and their school. Click NEXT for more.
