Kilkenny TY student Georgia Casey was named as one of two 'Hosts of the Year' at the No Name Club National Youth Awards at the Newpark Hotel on Saturday night.
Roscommon's Ava Connaughton was also named as a winner in the same category.
"She's only gone and done it. Well done to our amazing Georgina who just named the No Name Club Host of the Year 2024, the Kilkenny No Name Club stated, while Casey's school, Presentation Kilkenny also took to social media to congratulate their current student.
The Kilkenny No Name Club was founded by Garda Eamonn Doyle and former Kilkenny hurlers Eddie Keher and Fr Tom Murphy in 1978 to provide a youth friendly environment free of alcohol.
