CBS Secondary School Kilkenny has received an outstanding set of Leaving Certificate results today for the 2024 cohort of students.
Principal Tom Clarke congratulated the students and said it was wonderful to witness their extraordinary achievements.
"These results are testament to the commitment of students, parents and teachers. CBS Secondary School Kilkenny continues to strengthen its position as a leading academic school in the South East with students achieving excellent results, well above the national average. It is particularly satisfying that a number of students achieved top points and will now go on to take up their place in the top colleges in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA. This cohort of students have had the opportunity to select from a wide range of subjects and this has manifested in an increasing number of students being equipped to take their place in an increasingly diverse Third Level field.
"It is wonderful for the management and staff of the school to witness the extraordinary achievements of this cohort of students as they follow in the footsteps of the many outstanding former students who continue to excel in their various Third Level programmes.
"We want to take the opportunity to wish our students continued success as they now prepare to embrace the next stage of their educational and career journeys.
