The students of Castlecomer Community School (CCS) in North Kilkenny were generally delighted with their Junior Cycle results this morning.
"The combination of CBAs and written exams greatly suit the learning style of a wide variety of students," said CCS Principal Mr Pat Murphy.
Mr Murphy also welcomed the Junior Cycle 'Profile of Achievement' as being 'an important innovation in terms of recognising the full spectrum of students learning'.
"We have seen a significant improvement in our results since Covid," he continued.

"There was a considerable increase in the number of Higer Merit and Distinctions this year and a number of students who did exceptionally well.

"A big congratulations to all our students and staff alike on their achievements today."
