PICTURES: Callan Dance School qualify for Dance World Cup!

CMD Dance School, based in Callan, Co Kilkenny, are delighted to announce that a number of their dancers have qualified for the Dance Worlds, which will be held in Spain this coming July. 

The star dancers will form part of Team Ireland, and are set to represent the country in the prestigious competition this summer.

The Dance World Cup (DWC)  has over 120,000 individuals from all around the world, aged between 4 and 25, audition to qualify in their country for the DWC World Finals. 

Over 10,000 students from across the world are successful, with 66 countries taking part in the finals including Italy, England, France, Spain, Australia, Brazil, and Japan, just to name a few.

CMD Dance School were lucky enough to have 27 students successfully selected to be a part of Team Ireland 2025. 

The Dance World Cup, which is described as the "Olympics of dance" is to host well known judges, with the competitions being held in the genres of Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Song and Dance, Street/Hip Hop.
