'There is no guarantee' - Kilkenny families left in doubt as local service closes

An after-schools service has ceased operations locally

Concern locally as after-schools service to cease

From the end of May 2025, the after-schools in O'Loughlin Court will cease to operate as an after-schools.

The Kilkenny Traveller Community Movement (KTCM) are in the process of sourcing places for families in other facilities in Kilkenny and are working with the Kilkenny Childcare Committee.

If you wish your child to attend an After-School in September 2025, please get in touch with Anna Livia at KTCM on: 083 119-5424. 

KTCM will support families in securing a place in an alternative after-schools but did state, there is no guarantee of finding places for every child.
