The brand new Christian Brothers College (CBC) on the Dunningstown Road welcomed the school's first years through its gates for the very first time at their new Dunningstown Road complex.
Last year, the Minister for Education, Norma Foley, announced that the Kilkenny school would be one of three local schools to receive funding as part of 'Project Nore' with a new school building that will cater for 1,000 students and include special classes for students with additional needs.
