Dr Lindsay Malone appointed as Chief Executive at Kilkenny Carlow Education and Training Board
Dr Lindsay Malone has been appointed as the Chief Executive of Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board, following a Public Appointments Service recruitment competition.
Dr Malone is passionate about lifelong learning, social justice, widening participation, inclusion and access to higher and further education. She previously held the role of Director of Further Education and Training with Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB).
Prior to that, she was Deputy Head of Faculty of Lifelong Learning at SETU Carlow. With twenty years of leadership and management experience across various sectors, Lindsay has also lectured across Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts programmes for almost a decade.

Tramore native Dr Malone holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Applied Social Studies (Professional Social Care), a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning in Further and Higher Education, a Master of Arts in Child, Youth and Family Studies a PhD in Education and Social Justice with Lancaster University.
