CBC (formerly CBS Kilkenny) and Loreto Secondary School
CBC (formerly CBS Kilkenny) and Loreto Secondary School have confirmed that they are to join forces for an upcoming production of ‘Fame: The Musical’ at the Watergate Theatre from January 29 to 31, 2026.
The two schools have already combined for a number of shows over the past number of years including, ‘Hairspray: The Musical’ and ‘Shrek The Musical’.

“We’re delighted to finally reveal our TY musical for 2026,” a spokesperson from CBC said.
The show is being directed by Sarah Brennan, with Michele Wise handling choreography and Caroline Cotter as production assistant.

The musical direction is in the capable hands of Lorraine Maher, Sarah Somers, and Rachel Leydon, ensuring audiences can expect a professional quality sound to match the vibrant staging.
