Kilkenny school given huge boost as extension plans given the go ahead

Kilkenny County Council has granted planning permission to Castlecomer Community School to complete the construction of a special education classroom extension to the existing school.

The works will include the construction of a new roof and glazed structure over existing external yard area, associated adjustments to existing building and all associated siteworks at the North Kilkenny school.

The planning application was received on September 29 with the decision made by the local authority in recent days.
