Loreto Kilkenny, were delighted to welcome back past pupils who achieved over +550 points in Leaving Certificate 2025 to the school's annual Academic Awards in recent weeks. - PICTURES BELOW
Eight students achieved the maximum possible points of 625, while 36% of the year group were awarded 500 CAO points or higher, and 9% exceeded 600 points.
High levels of performance were evident across all abilities, with 85% of the class of 2025 proceeding to commence degree-level courses, placing Loreto among the top-performing schools in the country.

Similarly, the city school's Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement result significantly surpass national averages, both in top-grade attainment and participation in Higher Level courses.
There was also pride for one local family with Tricia Nolan named as their Alumna recipient.
"We especially thank all who made the effort to travel back and be part of what was a lovely celebration in our school community," a spokesperson told Kilkenny Live.
