CK United came from behind to rescue a point at home to Treaty United U23s in their Women’s Development League game at Killeshin on Sunday afternoon.

A late equaliser from Jazmine Doyle cancelled out Sadbh Griffin’s opener to see the sides leave with a point each.

United were seeking to keep momentum going after a first-ever victory for the side with a win over Wexford FC U23s while Treaty were hoping to do the same having seen off Bray Wanderers last week.

After a scoreless first half, the Limerick outfit took the lead through Brennan after 57 minutes, leaving the home side staring down a second defeat in their opening three games.

However, United dug deep to push for a vital equaliser with Doyle winning possession just inside the Treaty penalty area and rifling a powerful shot into the roof of the net to extend her side’s unbeaten run to two games.

The result drops CK United to sixth in the Group B table, behind Treaty on goal difference.

The local side will seek to get back to winning ways with a trip to Bray Wanderers while Treaty United U23s host Cobh Ramblers.
