Cup champs Thomastown to enter the Lions den!

The draw has been made for the last 16 of the McCalmont Cup.
Title holders Thomastown United, who beat Paulstown 06 to advance to this stage, will take their Cup defence on the road as they travel to Durrow for a meeting with the Lions.
Evergreen A, last season’s beaten finalists, face a city derby with St John’s. The Kells Road club could yet have four sides in the last 16 – their B team will join the As, Evergreen C and Evergreen 46 at this stage should they beat Thomastown United B tomorrow (Sunday). The winners of that tie are away to Stoneyford United.
The Division Two champion Evergreen C team have been handed a tricky challenge away to Highview Athletic A, who celebrated promotion to the Premier Division last weekend while Evergreen 46, who beat Thomastown United C, face a city clash at home to Newpark.
Freebooters are also hoping to have two teams in the last 16. The Blues B team are already there, and will take on Deen Celtic A.
Freebooters A have yet to play their last 32 game against Clover United. The winners of that tie are away to Highview Athletic B. The final game in the draw paired Bridge United with Callan United B.
