Two ladies football under-12 blitz will be played on Saturday (10.30am). In the South, Piltown will host new club Clara, Barrow Gaels and Three Friars.

The City club will host Muckalee, Erin’s Own and Thomastown. The venue for this one has yet to be confirmed with the City club officers.

Last weekend in Castlecomer, Erin’s Own hosted an under-10 blitz where they fielded two teams and welcomed opposition from Clara and Muckalee.

Development squads

The Kilkenny under-14 team are currently preparing for the Leinster Shield final against Carlow. It will be played on Saturday, June 14 at a venue to be confirmed.

Kilkenny scored a good win over Carlow in the league section, but this game is expected to present a totally different challenge.

Meanwhile, the under-12 Developments Squads continue their preparations on Sundays (10.30am) in St James Park for the Leinster blitz which will be played in Carlow on Saturday, June 7. All players from clubs born 2002/2003 are invited to attend. Contact your club for details.
