Training will be held in St James Park on Sunday (10am) for all Kilkenny under-14 and 16 footballers. This is the final training session for both panels before the Leinster tournaments on Saturday, October 22.

If you are a footballer and are interested in being a member of the panels, please attend the session on Sunday. Clubs have been asked to encourage youngsters interested in footballers to attend the session and to help the promotion of the game in the county.

It is intended to enlist the help of Leinster Council to continue these sessions over the next few months, and also to twin Kileknny football squads with Kerry hurling squads. Kerry will supply football coaches to Kilkenny and the Cats will supply hurling coaches to Kerry.

If the venture is to succeed, Kilkenny need the full co-operation of clubs.
