The enchanting sound of birdsong in the stunning surrounds of Kilkenny Castle will be soaked up by nature enthusiasts next Thursday as part of National Biodiversity Week.
The Office of Public Works is delighted to partner with Birdwatch Kilkenny in presenting the annual Dusk Chorus at Kilkenny Castle Park on the evening of May 2 at 38pm. It is always a wonderful event with fascinating information on the birdlife here in the Park.
This event is free with the meeting point in the Courtyard of Kilkenny Castle and people are asked to dress appropriately as this is an outdoor event.
National Biodiversity Week takes place between May 17 and 26 and explores the rich variety of life with a host of wonderful events and activities for the whole family.
