Kilkenny pharmacy celebrates 20 years serving the community

Last Friday (July 25), Newpark Life Pharmacy hosted a special Customer Appreciation Day to mark two very big milestones – the official launch of their newly extended store, and 20 years of serving the Kilkenny community.

It was a day filled with music, colour, and connection. The sun was shining, the DJ was playing, and families dropped in throughout the afternoon for face painting, colouring competitions, goodie bags, and sweet treats from some great local suppliers.

Newpark Life were delighted to welcome well-known faces like Natalie Lennon and Joe Campion, who joined in a special ribbon-cutting alongside customers and team. It was a lovely moment that brought home just how far the local pharmacy has come.

When Newpark Life's doors first opened in 2005, the pharmacy was a small space with just a handful of staff. Two decades later, the pharmacy has grown into something much bigger – but still holds that same sense of warmth, trust, and community. 

The extension has allowed Newpark Life to double their dispensary and expand their services, but this event wasn’t just about the building – it was about saying thank you.

"Thank you to every person who’s walked through the doors over the last 20 years," says a representative of Newpark Life. "It’s because of you that we’re still here, still growing, and still proud to call Kilkenny home."
