Piltown GAA  launches Allstar 15

GAA clubs in Piltown have come together to fundraise in support of all codes in the parish.

The Piltown All Stars 15 draw was first set up last year, and has funded the day-to-day running of the clubs, grounds maintenance, professional coaching in the local schools and will help fund future developments.

Piltown GAA Club, Camogie Club and Ladies Gaelic Football Club have formed closer ties through the initiative and look forward to a full amalgamation of the clubs in the near future.

Between them, the clubs cater for more than 430 players, fielding 28 teams from under six to adult level. Membership increased across all three clubs  in 2022. New members are always welcome.

The clubs are a social hub for people of all ages with the pitches, squash courts, gym and function rooms available to all members. Along with gaelic games, the GAA complex hosts Foroige, Progressive 30 card sessions, Irish dancing classes, art classes and set dancing. A gym was added to the facilites in 2022.
