Mooring linesman at the Port of Waterford in Belview, County Kilkenny, Seamus Healy, recently let go of his final ship after more than four decades of service.
He is described by the Port as 'a good friend' and his fellow workmates, including Capt Darren Doyle and Victor Whitty were at hand to mark his retirement, presenting him with a parting gift.
"Bon voyage Seamus and wishing you the best," a statement from the Port reads.
