The South Kilkenny Run will take place in Ballyhale, Co Kilkenny on Sunday, September 24.
A 10 mile run, 10k run and a 5k run/walk all take place on the morning.
Proceeds from the run are in aid of the Shamrocks Ballyhale Development Plan and ahead of the race, Shamrocks hurlers TJ Reid and Eoin Cody have outlined their support.
"This is going to be one of the rest runs in Kilkenny," Reid said.
"Last year was big so we want to make this year's even bigger," Reid concluded.
The action kicks-off at 10am, with refreshments and medals for participants available on the day.
