Iconic Kilkenny restaurant and bar to reopen

The new owner of 'The Long Man' Brian Coll is delighted to announce, that after major investment and refurbishments, the Kilfane restaurant is set to reopen on Sunday, July 7 with food orders from 6 to 10pm Friday and Saturday and 12 noon to 8pm on Sunday.

The popular restaurant and bar played host to many parish events in the Nineties. Margaret and Seamus Keaney were the proprietors of the business which was named after the local Cantwell Fada, an effigy of a knight on display in the ruins of the 14th Century Kilfane Church.
