Works are continuing at pace in the vicinity of the bridge in Mullinavat in South Kilkenny as part of ongoing climate action works.
According to an update provided at this month’s meeting of Piltown Municipal District, river cleaning and cleaning around the eyes of the bridge has been completed.
Bridge rehabilitation works commenced on Monday (October 7).

There will be temporary traffic lights in operation on the Mill Road, Mullinavat, for a two week period from this date in order to facilitate these bridge rehabilitation works.
