Staff at Spar (Fountain Street, Ferrybank) have shared details of an imminent closure with their followers on social media.
"To all of our customers and friends, the proprietor of Spar Ferrybank has made the difficult decision to cease trading early May 2025," a spokesperson confirmed.
"Unfortunately, the store has been experiencing a decline in profitability for some time, despite our best efforts, it is no longer sustainable.
