The Boil Water Notice affecting Mooncoin Public Water Supply has been lifted with immediate effect following consultation with the HSE.
Uisce Éireann can confirm that, following consultation with the Health Service Executive, customers on this supply can now resume normal use of their water supply.
This notice was issued on Wednesday, 27 August, as a precautionary measure to protect the health of approximately 6,000 customers after the detection of giardia in a sample on the network.
