Established in 1995, Prochem Engineering is one of the leading engineering consultancy firms in Ireland. 

27 years on, we have stayed true to our original mission to meet the professional, consulting engineering and project management needs of the process industry in Ireland. Our diverse client base includes clients from the Life Sciences sector (Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Animal Health), Food & Beverage across to the Environmental and Energy sectors.

Our service offering has grown over time to a position where we now focus on the key engineering disciplines of Process Engineering and Building Services Engineering, delivering high quality integrated solutions throughout the project life cycle and into the operational environment.

We have two offices situated in ideal locations for our clients, our HQ office in Kilkenny and our Cork office which opened in 2018.

We are now welcoming applications for engineering talent across multiple disciplines (Process, Electrical, Piping Design, Project) as well as an exciting new opening for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our established team.

Requirements for engineering applicants

- Engineering/ technical degree within relevant discipline (Process/Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.)
- Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical industry
- Solid understanding of design and associated design software (CAD/Revit/Plant 3D)
- We are open to junior candidates as well as more experienced senior applicants

Recruitment Specialist Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar recruitment role (in-house/agency)
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and experience recruiting technical talent within this type of highly regulated industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and varied environment
